Gainz AIAccount deletion

How todelete your account

You can delete your Gainz AI account and the data attached to it from inside the app. This page explains the steps, what is erased, what we have to keep, and how long it takes. It applies to the Gainz AI app published by Optimum Fitness AI Ltd.

Deleting from the app

  1. Open Account Management

In the Gainz AI app, open Settings and choose Account Management. Delete Account is on that screen.

  2. Confirm deletion

Confirm when prompted. Your account is deactivated immediately and you are signed out on every device.

  3. Wait out the grace window

Your account is scheduled for permanent erasure 30 days later. Nothing further is required from you.

Signing back in during the 30 days cancels the deletion and restores your account untouched. After 30 days the erasure runs and cannot be reversed.

If you cannot open the app

Email support@gainz.ai from the address on your account, with the subject Delete my account. Once we have confirmed the request came from the account holder, we schedule the same 30-day erasure described above. That confirmation step exists so nobody else can delete your account.

What is erased

When the erasure runs, these are deleted from our database and our file storage. This is a real delete, not a hidden or deactivated record.

  • Your profile — name, email address, date of birth, gender
  • Height, weight and any health readings synced from Apple Health or Health Connect
  • Workout history, training plans, logged sets, reps and loads
  • Nutrition plans, logged meals and macro targets
  • Photos you uploaded — meal scans, body scans and profile pictures
  • Voice recordings captured for coach avatar creation
  • Coach avatars you created, including any published publicly
  • Conversations with your AI coach
  • Notification preferences, streaks and weekly summaries

What we keep, and why

Purchase and subscription records
Apple and Google hold the record of a transaction, not us. We keep the minimum needed for tax and accounting law, which in the UK is six years.
Aggregated, anonymous usage counts
Figures that can no longer identify you — for example how many workouts were completed in a month — remain in our analytics totals.
Records we are legally required to hold
Where a law obliges us to retain something, we keep only that, for only as long as it applies.

None of what we keep identifies you as a Gainz user or can be used to rebuild your account. For the full picture of how we handle personal data, see the privacy policy.
